 THE PATTERSON TROPHY 2007

Hollington Table Tennis Club hosted the Patterson Trophy on Saturday 21st July.

The Hollington club provided the winners Sam Collins and Michael Kelley. The Hollington duo completed their first four matches in the six-team round-robin event unbeaten to set up a winner-takes-all decider against Filsham Valley A.

The closing contest contained some close games, but Hollington ran out 4-0 winners against up and coming  10 year old Jack Bennett and Jess Jupe.

Filsham Valley B turned in a good all round performance to take third place through Becky Potter and eight-year-old Josh Bennett.

The remaining line-ups finished in a three-way tie for forth spot with all three sides winning one match.

Lucy Noble won most of her singles tussles for Hollington B, while there were also good wins for Bradley Heselden and Greg Potter.
